TED was designed to be low profile, self-propelled, remote controlled and all terrain.

The ability to lift heavy components, from underneath removes the suspended load hazard of many maintenance operations.

The remote-controlled operation allows maintenance personnel to distance themselves from load hazards during maintenance operations, particularly in the critical lowering phase of belly plate removal.

It can also have a positive impact on fatigue prevention, reduce muscle strain injuries, and drastically improve efficiency across numerous repair and maintenance applications.
